WRITE A REVIEW ON TOSHIBA SATELLITE PRO L300 LAPTOP

There are many fine and affordable electronic products with the name Toshiba on it. The company has done quite well for itself and has done it again with its new product geared toward the corporate user. It’s the new Toshiba Satellite Pro L300 laptop.

If you’re looking for a laptop that’s designed with quality materials from a company that thrives on giving its customers a great laptop that can handle the rigors of day-to-day travel then the Toshiba Satellite Pro L300 laptop is what you need. In fact, this Toshiba laptop competes against the laptops HP 550 and Asus X58C for attention.

What will you find with this Toshiba product? You’ll find, in addition to its heavy-duty case, a laptop that stays cool despite being used for extended periods of time. You’ll also discover that it’s quite light, coming in at just a mere 2.6 kilograms.

The screen on the Toshiba Satellite Pro L300 laptop is close to the HP 550 screen with a size of 15.4 inches wide that gives it’s users colorful yet crisp images. You’ll also be impressed with the contrast the Toshiba company gives this laptop. You also have a lot of space to work with multiple windows concurrently. The Toshiba graphics are provided by the Intel GMA 4500M integrated chipset, also seen with the Acer eMachines E520.

The Toshiba Satellite Pro L300 lets you use the laptop off the battery charger for approximately 195 minutes. You’ll have no problems running an integrated program such as Photoshop or using an Internet connection to surf the web.

The design of the Toshiba L300 is sensible, giving users space for the decent sized keyboard with a great mix of usability and quality. You’ll be happy to know that the keys of the keyboard are held in place and don’t rattle when they are used. Peripheral keys on the laptop are kept away from the main keyboard, allowing you to use them easily without having to look directly at them.

If you are looking for extra features on the Toshiba Satellite Pro L300, then you’re going to be slightly disappointed. It’s only got a 120-gigabyte hard drive so if you have a lot of large files you want to move over, then you may want to find yourself another laptop. There’s no card reader for the laptop either so access to photos that are on your digital camera may not be possible.

Another disappointing feature of the Toshiba Satellite Pro L300 is the spacing of the USB ports. Like the drawback found on the Acer and HP versions, Toshiba also has two USB ports very close together. This means any bulky USB hookups that you have will reduce how many ports you have to use. However, you have an ExpressCard slot which is an alternative peripheral.

You easily browse the web with the wireless connection or use the fixed 10/100 Ethernet card. Speed capabilities do not rival the Asus but works fine nonetheless.

If you need a durable but sturdy laptop to work for every day business functions despite its limited features, then you won’t go wrong with the Toshiba Satellite Pro L300.
