WRITE A REVIEW ON DELL STUDIO XPS 13 LAPTOP

Until recently, the Dell XPS and Studio were separate laptops… one for high-end performance, the other for style. Now Dell has combined the two styles to create the Dell Studio XPS 13, making it the first of its kind…powerful and compact.

The Dell Studio XPS 13 is made up of a glossy plastic, black in color, with genuine leather accents. The downside to this glossy feel is it shows fingerprints and scratches straight away. However, it’s ultraportable at 2.2 kilograms and can be used for regular travel. You’ll love the 277-minute battery life that comes with this laptop.

The keyboard of the Studio XPS 13 is quite solid. If you have little light, there’s a backlit that will help you see the keys when you type. If you have large hands, you may have slight difficulty with the keyboard as it is near the chassis’ front end. It may be best to try it out before you purchase it to make sure the laptop is good for you.

The Dell’s 13.3-inch screen sits beneath a very thin layer of plastic. The glossy layer of the laptop will help you see images bright and clear… great for editing photos or watching DVDs. Keep in mind that extremely bright conditions can cause reflections on the screen.

You’ll love the performance of the Dell’s Studio XPS 13 graphics card. It’s the same integrated Nvidia GPU graphics card that can be seen in the Apple MacBook. It’s also the first integrated chip to offer just about the same performance as a dedicated GPU. This helps you to play those less resource heavy games.

What other features are found on this two in one laptop? First, you have the Intel 2.40 GHz Core 2 Duo processor that allows for high performance. It’s got 3072 MB of high speed DDR3 memory. This allows you to run multiple applications of high-end quality.

You’ll love the hard drive space that comes on the Studio XPS 13 as it measures at 250 GB, enough to store plenty of music, movies and documents. The laptop disk runs at 7200 rpm, so far this is the fastest rotational speed found on a laptop. At 7200 rpm, you can access any information rapidly and with very little difficulties.

On the laptop’s right hand side frame, you have a DVD rewriter so that you can create your own disc and play CDs and DVDs. You’ll get a three-in-one card reader to allow you to access flash storage cards.

Would you like to view the laptop in high-definition? The Studio XPS 13 gives you this ability with an HDMI-out port connection. Should you need help within the first year of owning your laptop, you’ll get wonderful on-site warranty.

If you are looking for a laptop that works well and is affordable, you’ll love the Studio XPS 13. Not only is it good to use at home, it’s wonderful to bring along when you travel.
